"Good management of EU Cohesion policy for a strong EU democracy" Workshop organized by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Région during this year's European Week of Regions and Cities. October 8, 9:30 a.m.
The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region, Managing Authority of the Regional ERDF, ESF and JTF programme, is organising a "#EURegionsWeek close to you" workshop during this year's European Week of Regions and Cities. In cooperation with the Regional Studies Association and RSA Europe.
Workshop : Good management of EU Cohesion policy for a strong EU democracy
Local projects financed by EU Cohesion policy represent the most visible aspect of the EU to citizens. However, the perceived complexity of EU Cohesion policy financing can have a negative impact on public perception of the EU. Therefore, it is a responsibility of local and regional authorities, tasked with implementing EU Cohesion policy funds, to ensure that beneficiaries, and ultimately citizens, are satisfied with their experience with EU Cohesion policy funds.
